Molten salt parabolic trough technology (Japan, Italy)

Japanese EPC-contractor Chiyoda was focused on plant engineering and construction in the oil and gas sector and was looking for diversification by entering into Renewable Energy Sector and technologies that were matching with the company core competences. For risk mitigation reasons, a team with partners from three nations should be built up a new technology area for the company. Tasks were moderation of all stakeholders (Owner, Contractor, Operator), structuring of proposal processes with the objective of preparing proposals in the context of serving two tenders released in South Africa and Italy (investment ca. 300 – 400 Mio. Euro each).
